| Transitional Family Services (TFS) is a wholly owned entity of Providence Service Corporation (Providence). Providence was initially formed as a merger of two providers of behavioral health care for children and families in Tucson, AZ. The merger took place in 1997 when a provider of home-based therapy services joined forces with a case management provider. The partnering of these two agencies created a powerful union of clinical and case management strength, experience, and innovation. |
Providence offers programs under a decentralized, local model and operates in conjunction with local and regional providers who are partners of the communities in which they operate. Providence's motto, Human Services Without Walls' simply means that we provide our services in the client's own environment. We don't own a hospital, institution, or correctional facility and prefer to serve individuals and families in their own home, school, neighborhood, or work place. |
| In Georgia, those services are offered through Transitional Family Services. TFS has developed collaborative relationships with community resources and local agencies, resulting in a reputation for providing cost effective, quality care for our clients. |
